What's on at the Waggon & Horses

The Waggon is York's 'Best Entertainment Pub' (York Press Pub Awards 2011) and there is always something going on.

We have regular and special occasion events. Below are a few of our regular events, but we will update this page regular so watch out for our special events.

THE WAGGON  QUIZ NIGHT

Every Thursday from 9.15pm

Free entry and teams of up to 5!

General knowledge, music, films and TV, sport and a picture round.

There’s plenty of ale for the winners - and bonus riunds to make it interesting!

Free supper for all entrants! 

SUNDAY NIGHT MUSIC QUIZ

Every Sunday from 7.30pm, wind down the weekend with the Waggon's music quiz - five rounds of musical testers, followed by free supper for entrants.

GOLF SOCIETY

Meets first Sunday of every month - lots of society days out on the course and weekends away, as well as a fantastic social side.

OPEN MIC NIGHT

Every Thursday friom 9pm - featuring some of the finest local talent.

Anyone is welcome to get up and perform - and if you sing us a song we'll even buy you a drink.

THE WAGGON ACOUSTIC CLUB

The Waggon and Horses invites you to the brand new Saturday night Acoustic Club. 

Every Saturday from 9pm we bring you the finest talent that York has to offer - look out on Facebook for information.
